Science Committee

The Foundation specifically encourages applied research to generate evidence for new developments and treatment concepts. This, in turn, enables knowledge to flow from an academic level to standard-of-care in routine practice. To increase the evidence base for applications in oral and maxillofacial surgery, the Osteology Foundation provides financial support for scientific projects in the field of hard and soft tissue regeneration.

Since 2009, the Osteology Foundation offers two dates for the submission of project proposals – June 15th and December 1st. Based on preliminary evaluation the Science Committee decides which of the applicants will be invited to file complete study documentation.
