Excellence in education

We are dedicated to delivering excellence in all aspects of our educational programmes and have been awarded the prestigious ADA CERP accreditation in recognition of our continuous commitment - a testament to the top-quality education we provide.

Our education standards

We are dedicated to providing high-quality continuing education. To ensure that all our educational activities are of the highest standard, we adhere to principles that are the basis of our teaching approach. Our speakers and instructors are expected to follow these principles, ensuring that you always receive the best possible education.

  • We emphasise the importance of clear learning objectives and take-home messages. This ensures that our educational activities are focused and effective.
  • We require that all content presented be based on scientific evidence, or if personal experience is being shared, this should be made clear to the audience.
  • We urge our speakers and instructors to avoid excessive use of product names and instead use generic names whenever possible. In cases where product names are mentioned, they should be used within the context of scientific studies or clinical presentations.
  • We are committed to upholding ethical guidelines for animal research and patient confidentiality rules. We expect our speakers and instructors to respect these guidelines as well.
  • We require that any possible conflicts of interest be disclosed if presenting data from industry-sponsored research. This ensures that our educational activities remain unbiased and transparent.

Osteology Foundation is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider

ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hourse by boards of dentistry.

The ADA's Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition (CCEPR) evaluates providers of CE in 14 aspects of program quality through the ADA CERP application process. Only providers that can meet the ADA CERP Recognition Standards and Procedures (PDF) are granted recognition and are authorized to use the ADA CERP logo and recognition statement. Once approved, ADA CERP recognized providers must maintain the same high standards and are reevaluated periodically.

Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition at ADA.org/CERP.

The number of credit hours is listed on the individual websites / programmes of the activity designated by the Osteology Foundation for continuing education credits.
