The chairmen Prof. Dieter Bosshardt and Prof. Reinhard Gruber invited researchers and clinicians to lecture on bone and cementum anatomy as well as histological techniques and microCT. The core of the 2.5-day course consisted of 4 different workshops that addressed microCT imaging, hard tissue sample preparation, histomorphometry and the use of CBCT data in scientific studies. Participants also had the opportunity to network during two evening events, which were organised in connection with the course. A “really inspiring course” will hopefully help participants to transfer the taught techniques and implement gained knowledge into their research projects.
