Collaborative session at ÖGI congress in Graz, Austria

A collaborative session with the ÖGI took place in November 2017 during the annual congress of the Austrian association in Graz. It was the first time that the Osteology Foundation joined forces with the ÖGI, and it was a great success.

The Osteology Foundation collaborates with several renowned societies and organisations worldwide, since joining forces allows it to deliver more and better education on oral regenerative therapies worldwide. In November 2017, the Osteology Foundation joined the annual meeting of the ÖGI, the Austrian Society for Implantology, in Graz.

300 participants attended the two Osteology «Next Generation» Sessions, and also the two workshops with Isabella Rocchietta and Ronald E. Jung, were completely sold out. The two workshops were one of the highlights, and allowed the participants to learn and practice surgical techniques for vertical ridge augmentation, respectively hard- and soft-tissue management before and during implant placement.

One of the sessions focussed on major bone augmentation procedures, with presentations by Reinhard Gruber, Norbert Jakse, Isabella Rocchietta, and an interactive discussion session.

The second session addressed treatment concepts for the aesthetic region, and different aspects were presented by Ronald E. Jung, Rudolf Fürhauser, and Michael Müller, and in an interactive discussion session, the treatment of a case in the aesthetic region was discussed.

Further collaboration events are coming up soon. An overview can be found online at https://www.osteology.org/education/collaborations/
