Osteology Foundation @ DGI Hamburg

The 33rd Congress of the DGI took place in Hamburg between 28 and 30 November. The Osteology Foundation participated for the fourth time as a partner, and took the opportunity to contribute to the scientific program with table demonstrations on a number of topics.

The Osteology Foundation strives to reach as many people as possible all over the world with its activities. An important pillar in achieving these goals is our work with recognised organisations in the field of oral tissue regeneration. As part of this, the Osteology Foundation had the opportunity to contribute to the scientific programme at a DGI congress for the fourth time, although this year our contribution had a completely new format.

Table clinics: experts at your fingertips

On Friday afternoon, experts gave lectures and discussed attendees’ questions at table demonstrations. With Daniel Buser, Ausra Ramanauskaite, Jan Derks and Tobias Fretwurst all available, attendees had the chance to speak with renowned experts in their field. They covered topics including GBR with a two-layer composite graft, periimplantitis with resective and combined therapy, periimplantitis with reconstructive therapy, and principles in surgery for successful augmentation. This was the first time the table demonstration format had been used by the Osteology Foundation, and it was a complete success, with over 200 attendees at some of the tables.

Thank you to the organisers for this great event!
