Osteology Foundation @ EAO Congress Vienna

From 11 to 13 October 2018, the Osteology Foundation participated in the 27th EAO Congress in Vienna. A challenging puzzle game at the Foundation’s stand gave visitors the opportunity to win free registration for Osteology Barcelona 2019. On Friday 12 October, the Foundation presented its first Education and Networking Event at the Hofstallung, where the participants had the possibility to learn and exchange with like-minded colleagues.

The EAO congress is always a very good place to meet dental professionals from all around the globe. The lectures,  workshops, and pleasant atmosphere in the exhibition hall brought a broad range of participants together.

Puzzle Challenge at the Booth

When visiting the Osteology Foundation’s booth visitors had the opportunity to win free registration for Osteology Barcelona, taking place on 25–27 April 2019. The task: finish the 3D puzzle cube in the best time. Roser de Sans from Spain finished the challenging puzzle in a fantastic time of 21:86 seconds on Friday afternoon – a benchmark that could not be beaten until Saturday evening – and she won the free registration.

Osteology: From the Past to the Future

On Friday night, 350 participants were welcomed at the Hofstallung in the museum quarter in the heart of Vienna, under the theme “From the past to the future” for the first Education and Networking Event held by the Foundation. One of the main goals of the Osteology Foundation is the further training of dental professionals. Therefore, short lectures were held by the Osteology Foundation’s president Mariano Sanz, Board Member Reinhard Gruber and former president Christoph Hämmerle. Five supervised educational displays throughout the location provided further details about oral regeneration to the participants. After the educational areas were closed, the guests had the opportunity to enjoy dinner and exchange experiences with like-minded people.
