Prof. Nagihan Bostanci, DDS, PhD, AFHEA is Head of Internationalization in Dentistry and Professor of Inflammation Research in Periodontics. She is also Program Director for “Master´s Degree in Odontology, Oral Health and Dental Technology”. She served as the president of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Periodontal Research Group. She is currently President Elect of the Microbiology and Immunology Group of IADR.

Her research line involves a range of complementary disciplines and approaches, including clinical periodontology, immunology, microbiology, bioengineering, proteomics, metaproteomics and systems biology.
